How to make a piece last forever.
These are our pieces. We want them on you for decades. Here's how to keep them looking like they did the day they arrived.
Take them off before the gym.
Sweat is salty water. Salty water on metal, repeated daily, will dull any finish on earth.
Take them off before the shower.
Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel build up in the fine grooves of a chain. Two weeks later it looks 'tarnished' — it's actually just bath products.
Take them off before bed.
Bedding catches clasps and bends them. Bent clasps are how chains get lost.
Store them flat.
Pieces tangle when they're piled in a bowl. We include a soft pouch with every order; use it.
Polish them gently, never harshly.
A soft microfibre cloth is all you need. Avoid silver-dip liquids — they strip the gold plating and the patina at the same time.
What you're caring for
The three materials we work in.
Sterling silver (925)
92.5% pure silver, alloyed with copper for strength. Nickel-free. Will gradually develop a soft warm patina with wear — wipe with a polishing cloth to bring back the bright finish.
18k gold plate over stainless
Surgical-grade stainless steel base with a thick 18k gold layer. Tarnish-resistant, won't turn your skin green, fine to wear in the shower. The plating wears slowly over years; bring it in and we'll re-plate.
Lab-grown diamonds
Optically and chemically identical to mined diamonds, grown in a Copenhagen lab. Same Mohs 10 hardness, same fire and brilliance, none of the ethical question marks.
